Joseph Feldman is a Los Angeles based sculptor who constructs abstract kinetic assemblages using wood, motors, hardware, wire, rope and other industrial materials. He is inspired by motion he sees in nature and in urban environments. His goal is to create sculptures that appear to move in some organic way and make sound, are intriguing to watch, and pleasing to the eye. He

sometimes thinks of himself as a choreographer, but instead of creating movement for human dancers, his dancers are wood and hardware. He has shown his artwork in various group shows over the years in California, New York, Florida and Rhode Island.

Joseph has a Master of Architecture degree from the University of California, Berkeley, where in addition to architecture he studied sculpture.
